CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION

In real estate, a condominium conversion or condo conversion is the process of entitling an income property or other lands currently held under one title from sole ownership of the entire
property into individually sold units as condominiums.

SUPER LIENS

In Massachusetts, the "super-lien" provision in the state's condominium statute (Chapter 400 of Mass. General Laws 183A) allows the condominium association to assume the position of first lienholder [after taxes] on a Unit that is delinquent on their monthly condo fees or special assessment, or a property about to default.
